COMMENT: Since joining this program last year, I feel that my tennis and fitness have sky rocketed. I am physically stronger from working in the gym. I now also understand the mental side of the game which is helping me to take myself to the next level and become the best player I can be.

COMMENT: I am impressed with the attitude of the coaches towards the children involved in the program. Anita’s tennis has improved dramatically and the program has taught Anita not only to focus on the physical side, but also the mental side of tennis. Michael Baroch has also had a great effect on Anita’s tennis, always pushing her to the next level and outside her comfort zones. I believe MITS has been a good thing for Anita, and also for children who want to work hard.

COMMENT: I think it is a wonderful experience for anyone who loves to play tennis. It is fun, but also serious program. Which helps develop a high standard of tennis. The coaches are friendly and supportive, and always there when you need to work on something technically or anything else. It is definitely a worthwhile experience. I’ve loved it so far and I have improved a lot. It is very professional, helping you with the technical, tactical, physical and mental side of the game.

COMMENT: MITS has been a huge part of my life. It has not only helped me become a more professional tennis player, but it has helped me in all parts of my life. MITS has taught me self confidence which has helped through school and even my social life.
MITS gives all the players an opportunity to try new things, like just recently we went on a military camp, which takes a whole team effort to successfully complete it, and we did. That just shows that MITS is a strong, tough and confident team.

COMMENT: I’ve been a scholarship holder at the Melbourne International Tennis School, since the very first day it started. Since then, I have made massive gains and improvements in my tennis, fitness, psychology and nutrition. This was due to my dedication, but mainly due to the coaches and support staff that helped and inspired me to get where I am today. I’d like to thank everyone at MITS for contributing their help and knowledge to me and everyone at the school. It is very much appreciative and enjoyable.

COMMENT: Mark’s confidence and discipline have noticeably improved since entering the MITS program, and we are very comfortable with his academic performance. Mark’s tennis ranking has also improved some 20 spots to a national computer ranking of No. 5 in the first year of 18’s. We are proud of his achievements this year which include:
- Selected member Pizzey Cup team
- Selected ‘All Australian’ Pizzey Cup Honor team
- Team member, Essendon Keilor College, N.S.S.T.T.C Victorian Boys Champion Team
We have found MITS staff to be highly professional, and congratulate them on making this unique program available to Australian juniors.

COMMENT: We decided to send Kristy to MITS because of the diversity in the program and the fact that it is was innovative and exciting. The unique opportunity at MITS to combine tennis and schooling appealed to Kristy and to us. She has been given the opportunity to accelerate her studies at Essendon Keilor College, and by all reports, is coping very well with her school work.
Kristy’s National computer ranking since commencing MITS has improved from No.72 to No.5. The tennis/school program provides a diversity of subject choices and on numerous occasions, school personnel have devoted counseling time to Kristy, for her future.
In enrolling Kristy into the MITS program we feel that she is enhancing both her scholastic and tennis abilities, and see her move to Melbourne as providing a wider life experience which we feel will hold her in good stead whatever her future endevours.

COMMENT: I do hope that Jenny is trained in the same atmosphere as when she was at M.I.T.S. I can still hear the encouraging words and comments continuously uttered by you and the other coaches.I can still see how your players responded to the encouragment by chasing the ball with all their might, and I recall your players requesting an extra round of drilling when they were not satisfied with their own performance.
Jenny reminds herself that she should spend 100% effort in her training remembering what you said 100% for 30 minutes is better than 50 % for 3hours.
Jenny is longing to return to M.I.T.S. during the next school holidays, everyone at M.I.T.S had been so nice to her that she keeps saying, "All Australians are nice people."
