MITS Mini’s is based around using modified equipment, students will be guided through the technical and tactical fundamentals of the game in a fun environment.

All lessons are based around learning through play and participation, and will teach skills for life such as agility, flexibility, balance and speed. Lessons will keep the students active and involved with lots of cooperative partner activities used to challenge kids to improve their skills. Kids progress through our 3 stages: Red, Orange and Green. Kids are guided and encouraged to develop at their own pace, only moving on to the next stage when our Tennis Australia qualified coaches feel they are ready.

ANZ Hotshots provides a framework to guide our coaching practises and to inform parents of their child’s progress. It is highly recommended players achieve a consistent level of proficiencies at each stage before progressing to the next one. It is not a race to the full size court playing with a yellow ball.

We will address the developmental characteristics of each child in order to address their level of competence in areas such as;

  • Physical
  • Cognitive
  • Emotional
  • Social
